What jobs can I get with a degree in criminal justice?

I am really really interested in joining the FBI to be a special agent, but I’ve heard that that is very hard to get into and that they do whole background checks on your family and everything. I’m a college freshman right now and I’m pretty set on getting a criminal justice and criminology degree. So, what can I do with a criminal justice degree if I don’t get to go into the FBI? I don’t want to be a police officer or anything of that sort. Thanks!

Is UIC or Loyola University Chicago a better school to study criminal justice and social work?

I know that UIC is a lot cheaper, plus I live 10 min away. Loyola isn’t to far either. I’d like to stay close to home, that is why I chose these two schools. However, I can’t make a decision. I want to go to the best school for the program that I’m studying: criminal justice and social work. UIC or Loyola? Pros and Cons?

Can being a stripper affect your chances at working in the Criminal Justice system?

So i am taking this sociology class and we are studying how many women become strippers in college to pay off loans, rent, etc. My question is doesn’t this affect their chances at getting in to the career they’re majoring in?
For example, criminal justice careers require background checks. Wouldn’t this damage your chances? Or is it something that can be overlooked?
